March 24, 2024. One night at the Chicago Improv in Schaumburg, four cameras and a crane in a comedy club, and a comic who had been killing in every room in Chicago. The pitch went to networks and producers for months. The answer was the quiet kind of no.
So the special went straight to the streamers with zero dollars of paid marketing. Prime Video in March 2025. Free on YouTube on July 1, 2025. A year later it crossed a million views.
That's why it's called Self Served.
